Current Trends in ADHD Treatment

About this course

This workshop is designed to provide attendees with the latest research and strategies for evaluating and managing ADHD symptoms. Led by experienced professionals, the workshop will cover topics such as medication options, behavioral interventions, and other therapeutic/educational interventions. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in group discussions and activities aimed at enhancing their understanding of the disorder and how to effectively manage its symptoms. The workshop is suitable for professionals with varying levels of interest or expertise in treating ADHD.

Learning Objectives

  • Describe and name at least 3 treatment interventions for ADHD.
  • Describe how ADHD effects people as children and adults.
  • Identify at least 3 current trends in ADHD research.

Target Audience

This educational activity is intended for behavioral health professionals, including Psychologists, Social Workers, Counselors, and MFT's.

Course Instructor(s)

  • Dr. David Danish MD

    Dr. Danish is a board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist with expertise treating ADHD and related neurodevelopmental disorders. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia, respectively. He has over 15 years of experience in psychiatry, treating patients of all ages and backgrounds with mood, anxiety, neurodevelopmental, executive function, and psychotic disorders. He is the founder and leader of Philadelphia Integrative Psychiatry, where he and his team provide cutting-edge treatments in the area of ADHD, including psychopharmacology, neurofeedback, behavioral therapy, and dietitian services.
